- OTDR testing, power meter & light source testing
- MDF–IDF and building-to-building fiber links
- Rack buildouts, labeling, and fiber cable management
- Fiber troubleshooting (low light levels, damaged strands, intermittent links)
- SFP / SFP+ optics support and switch-to-switch uplinks
- Pathway coordination (innerduct, J-hooks, conduit integration)
All work is performed to industry standards with full testing, labeling, and documentation. NDAA-compliant installation practices are available for facilities requiring confidentiality, including customs-bonded and regulated environments.
Why Fiber Optics
Fiber optics provide the bandwidth, distance, and reliability modern commercial facilities require. In warehouses and multi-closet environments, fiber eliminates interference issues and supports long-distance links between MDFs, IDFs, cameras, access control panels, and network equipment.
- High bandwidth for modern networks and growing data demands
- Long-distance performance without signal degradation
- Immune to electrical interference and ground potential issues
- Ideal for warehouses, multi-closet facilities, and future expansion

Frequently Asked Questions
How many fiber strands do I need?
Most commercial installations use 6 to 12 strand fiber per run, depending on the number of network closets, devices, and future expansion plans. We help determine the right strand count during the site walk to avoid costly rework later.
Do you provide fiber testing and documentation?
Yes. We offer power meter and light source testing, as well as OTDR testing when required. Test results and documentation can be provided for IT teams, property managers, or project closeout.
Can you troubleshoot or repair existing fiber?
In many cases, yes. We can diagnose low light levels, damaged strands, or intermittent links and perform repairs when the fiber is accessible. If replacement is required, we’ll clearly explain that before proceeding.
Do you handle the full low-voltage scope?
Yes. Fiber often supports CCTV, access control, Wi-Fi, and network uplinks. We can coordinate and install the complete low-voltage infrastructure under one scope of work.
